Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics is offering the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 for children ages 5-17.
Vaccinations can be scheduled through their website at https://www.mobridgehospital.org/vaccine-appointment or by calling (605) 845-3692. This Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 is a 2 series vaccine with the 2nd dose given 21 days after the 1st dose. Vaccination clinics for children ages 5-17 will be held on the following dates at Mobridge Medical Clinic:

Monday, January 10 3-5pm CST
Monday, January 31st 3-5pm CST
Monday, February 21st 3-5pm CST (2nd doses ONLY)We

The Parent Committee of Wakpala Public School will be hosting a free movie for our enrolled students, and their parents/guardians, on Saturday, January 29th.
The movie, Encanto, will start at 2 pm CST in the Wakpala School Theater.
Free pizza, chips, a drink and ice cream will be served. Students must be accompanied by an adult and masks must be worn.

US Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland, attended the LNI Art Show
in Rapid City, this past Friday morning. Even though security was high, Ms. Haaland took a moment to meet with one or two high school art students from each school that participated in the art show. This is where Harley spent a few moments with her explaining the artwork he had on display. Later in the day she met with Tribal Leaders. What an experience!

The elementary Boys Basketball game scheduled for Friday, January 21st, against Rock Creek has been postponed to Tuesday Jan 25th, 5:00 CST, @ Rock Creek.
