Super Appleman visited Wakpala Elementary Who is Super Appleman? Motivational Speaker and educational consultant Don Blake also known as Super Appleman is dedicated to children being healthy smart and well grounded. He encourages character building by explaining the importance of being respectful and honorable. He delivers crowd pleasing educational entertainment that focuses on eating fruits and vegetables and exercising.

Cross Country With the early release today, Wednesday, October 12th, Cross Country athletes will be taken home after they return from Gettysburg.
No After-School program 10/12 There will be NO afterschool program today, Wednesday, October 12th, due to the early dismissal.
Early Dismissal at 1 pm - Wednesday, October 12th Wakpala school will be dismissing at 1 p.m. after receiving a threat. Police Officers are on campus to provide assistance with dismissal and to investigate. K-2 students on the field trip will be delivered directly home at the completion of the field trip.
No School - Native American Day There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 10th in observance of Native American Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 11th.
After School Program Schedule The afterschool program will be going to Krause Apple Orchard tomorrow during the afterschool program. Students will still be arriving home on the 5:30 bus at their usual time. There will be no afterschool activities on Wednesday Oct. 5th due to Parent Teacher conferences.
