Smee School District 15-3 to celebrate School Board Recognition Week
The Smee School District will join districts across the state to thank school board members for their leadership and service to our local school district and community during South Dakota School Board Recognition Week from February 20-24.
This is a great opportunity to recognize our school board for their dedication to our children and our community.
This group is responsible for setting the vision of and goals for the district and strives to provide a quality education for our students. The school board also hires quality educators, adopts policies and evaluates progress while always keeping the best interests of our students in mind.
During School Board Recognition Week, the Smee School District 15-3 invites students, staff and community members to take part in thanking its school board members.

There will be no school Thursday, February 23rd, due to the current weather conditions.

There will be no school Wednesday, February 22 due to weather conditions.

There will be no school today, Tuesday, February 21 due to the forecasted weather.

There will be no school on Mon., Feb. 20th in observance of President's Day. Classes will resume on Tues. Feb. 21st.

Today’s Region basketball game against Takini at Wakpala Public School starts at 6 pm CST. SDHSAA requires admissions at all Region games.

Students (K-12th grade) - $4

There will be no school on Friday, Feb. 17th. It is parent/teacher conference comp. day. School will resume on Tues., Feb. 21st. Enjoy the 4 day weekend!

The Sioux Print Shop is now taking orders for 2022-2023 Boys & Girls Logo'd Basketball T-Shirts and/or Sweatshirts. The shirt will have a design on the front & full player roster on the back. Please see the order form for details & orders must be paid in advance.

The graphic used was a winning design by Logan McKee as part of Mr. Linde's Art class competition. After being selected, Logan's Design was forwarded to Gilbert Kills Pretty Enemy for some tweaks & digitizing. Thank you Logan & Gilbert for the collaboration & turning out a great design.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15th at the Wakpala School.
